SooLocal (3506 Nicollet Ave): A Division of Soo Visual Arts Center Presents, The Black Moon: New Works by Kate Iverson opening Friday October 3, 2014, 6-9PM and runs October 3 – November 8, 2014. In The Black Moon, Kate Iverson combines modern design sensibilities with natural elements in a blend of photography, collage and painting. Soo Local is open Saturdays Noon-4pm.

This summer SooLocal (3506 Nicollet Avenue) is giving emerging curators/artists our space and support to experiment with new ideas in curatorial practice. These are talented voices within the community and we are excited to provide them with the platform to share their ideas.
Equinox Series, the first curatorial collaboration between Crystal Quinn and Oakley Tapola, is a collection of short run exhibitions selected through an open call for proposals representing a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
