Join us Wednesday March 9th at 7-9pm for poetry, essay, and song from Joni Tevis, Brian Laidlaw, and Jennifer Willoughby. Each will offer interpretations of the end of worlds—visions of apocalypse, the myth of Narcissus and Echo, and pop culture explosions. But they will also catch us, spare us, and chart stories of love in the face of catastrophe. These are the stories you’ll most want to hear at The End.

SooVAC and our current exhibits are pleased to host Milkweed Editions end times gathering: 'Autour de La Fin Du Monde' by Amelia Biewald features a 10-foot disco ball representing a comet hurtling towards earth, and a heaving pile of tattered Victorian ruffles. 'Now here, nowhere' by Mike Calway-Fagen and Tim Tozer showcases unrehearsed delivery through dying words, trash, and a series titled 'Black Mass.'

Free and open to the public, but any donation will help support this collaborative event. / Presented in partnership by Milkweed Editions and Soo Visual Arts Center.

Books will be available for sale, in partnership with Moon Palace Books.
