Token Male

September 15 - October 26, 2003

Can the white male, the opposite of the representation of diversity, be marginalized, and as such, become tokenized? The exhibition of work by eight mostly white men explores the myriad issues evident in their lives or the lives of men. Token Male encourages the audience to wrestle with the topic and offer new perspectives into what maleness, or otherness, or what a token, might be.
