Please enjoy this series of interviews with the selected artists for this exhibition! Today we're talking to ceramicist and sculptor, Cody Hilleboe, who is a current MFA candidate at the University of Minnesota.

Squishy and Constricted, Cody Hilleboe, 2020

Where do you hail from?

I grew up and went to college in Missoula Montana. But, more recently I moved to the Midwest from Taos New Mexico.

What are some things you like about your practice? What kickstarts things in the studio for you?

Meditation, moving, placing different pieces of sculptures on top of others until something happens that’s sets me in motion.

What are you working on now? I’m making a lot of photos, the medium is not new to me, but the way of working and thinking about it. Also, a lot of applications; for jobs and residencies, mostly in the southwest.

You can follow Cody on Instagram, @codyhilleboe and see more of their work on their website, codyhilleboe.com

The Suzy Greenberg MFA Exhibition runs from February 26th to March 26th, meet the artists at the opening reception of this show from 6-9pm on Saturday the 26th, and stop by the gallery during normal hours to see this work by Cody and their talented cohort!

I really enjoyed this post because it felt informative without being repetitive. Every section added something useful, and the overall writing was easy to follow. Thank you for taking the time to create such a thoughtful article. I learned a few new things and will definitely come back for more content. ok win app

I loved reading about your process, Cody—especially how “Squishy and Constricted” plays with that feeling of being held in by the material itself. It’s also really nice that the exhibition opened up to both MCAD and UMN for the 20th year. By the way, I keep a free recipe site for late-night cravings I like to share: https://foodnevercomes.net/

I downloaded the jalwa games today, and the installation process went smoothly on my phone.

Playing games can sharpen focus, encourage teamwork, and create memorable moments with friends or family. Every session brings new challenges, rewarding patience, practice, and smart choices. Many players also enjoy daman because it combines simple rules with exciting rounds. Whether competing casually or aiming for personal improvement, staying calm and consistent often leads to better results. Balanced play, regular breaks, and respectful behavior help everyone enjoy the experience while building confidence, quick thinking, lasting friendships, and positive memories through shared fun every single day together with cheerful spirits always ahead.
