Michon Weeks is a painter based in Northfield, Minnesota. Her paintings grow from slow, attentive looking and from a collaboration between perception and the physical life of paint. Working in egg tempera and oil, she approaches painting as a contemplative practice grounded in observation and the transformation of materials. Her work has been exhibited at Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica, the Rochester Art Center in Minnesota, and Dreamsong in Minneapolis. In 2025 she was featured in New American Paintings, where Walker Art Center curator Rosario Guiraldes selected her as the juror’s pick. Weeks teaches drawing and painting at St. Olaf College.
 
Her work will be the subject of a solo exhibition at the Flaten Art Museum at St. Olaf College, on view September–December 2026, with opening details forthcoming.
