Untitled 7 will be the seventh year of SooVAC’s juried exhibition series. Untitled provides audiences the opportunity to see to new emerging talent and innovative ideas. The exhibition includes artists working in various mediums and at any stage of their career, thus ensuring a unique mixture of art on display.
This year’s exhibition will explore the authenticity of experience and obfuscated meaning through painting, photography, digital media and sculpture. The work transforms the familiar into the unconventional, disrupts meaning and challenges temporal relationships. Juror Scott Stulen, project director of mnartists.org at the Walker Art Center, selected eight artists from over 200 applicants.
